easyXAFS300/300+

easyXAFS300/300+

A high-powered spectrometer system using a 1.2 kW conventional XRD-style tube coupled to modern x-ray optics and detectors. This laboratory system for x-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) provides very rapid transmission-mode measurements suitable for research and development in electrical energy storage or catalysis while also giving extremely high throughput for general sample characterization or product testing. Our highest performing instrument for XANES and EXAFS.

3d-transition metals XAFS

With the wide energy range of our hard x-ray spectrometers, high-quality XANES and EXAFS of all the 3d transition metals from Ti to Zn can be measured. These elements are crucial in critical areas of modern research from batteries to catalysis, environmental remediation, and more.

Our hard x-ray spectrometers enable high quality data collection with energy resolution matching the synchrotron. Excellent performance is achieved in a matter of minutes. This enables the collection of large data sets in short time frames as well as real-time tracking of reaction processes. 

NMC Ni K-edge

easyXES150

easyXES150

A spectrometer that gives fully research-quality, hard x-ray emission spectroscopy (XES) using a 100 Watt, conventional x-ray tube source. The system is easily reconfigured for complementary transmission-mode XAFS capability. The optic system is modular with full pre-alignment; it only takes a few minutes to change energy ranges. In contrast to the liquid-cooled x-ray tubes of the higher powered system, the easyXES150 uses simpler air-cooled x-ray tubes which reduces complexity and makes this spectrometer a more economical, lower maintenance choice.
